This weekend has been a pretty good weekend.

Yesterday morning we got up and went to the local State Park with out neighbors for breakfast. Its a made to order breakfast and my whole family ate for just $10. You can't beat that! The kids each got pancakes and a drink and they only charged us $1 for each of them. Seriously, how can you go wrong?

After that we went back to our neighbors campground and hung out for a few hours while the kids ran and played down by the Ohio River. I of course, pretty much just sat on the porch in the shade and watched but it was nice and cool compared to what it's been so it was a welcomed relief.

After that we had to stop at the grocery store to pick up our meats for dinner for the next 2 weeks.
Then we headed home to make brownies and a side dish to bring to the same state park that evening. A guy Phil works with has a daughter the same age as Ethan and him and his wife invited us to go and spend the evening at the campground with them. We got there at 6:30 ate dinner and hung out until about 11:30. The kids had fun playing and again it was a nice break from the heat. I was actually a bit chilly last night.

We discovered Phil is "allergic" to a certain type of beer last night. He drank one beer from the Anheiser Busch company and soon after got a migraine. He had it for the rest of the night. We looked into it this morning and it said that its a known thing and it happens to 1 in 15 people because it has such high yeast in it. Now we know to stay away from that kind of beer. Phil knew he was a lightweight but we know he can handle more then 1 beer. The headache was pretty intense though and his head felt really weird this morning as well.

Today he got up and went with a guy from the first campground to check out a hunting club he is a member of. He spent the morning fishing and didn't get home until about 2. The kids were so wiped out from yesterday that Emma slept in this morning until 10:30. So basically I had one kid all day. Just as Emma was waking up, Ethan was going for a nap.

Unfortunately but fortunately Phil got called into work today around 3. He didn't get home here until 6:30 and then got the call again at 7:30 saying something else broke and he had to go back in. I miss him. He really hasn't been home on a weekend since we got back from Lake Champlain. One weekend he was at the gun club setting up for a shoot on Saturday then Sunday he helped run it and attended it himself.
The next weekend he had a motorcycle safety course all weekend.
The next weekend he was put on nights and was working in Pittsburgh so he got a hotel and stayed out there all weekend and worked...which we desperately needed because we had, had no overtime in 6 weeks.
This weekend we were so busy going here and there and then he went to the club today and then got called in. AND, it's not even his on call weekend. It's just computer issues that the other guy does not know how to do so Phil had to go in.

Tomorrow is my ultrasound that his aunt gifted to us so generously. I am so excited! I really can't wait. I just pray that 1. Phil doesn't get called in, and 2. that the baby is in a good position so we can actually see her.

We are hoping to get some good "last time" pregnancy photos this weeks. Hopefully we will be able to squeeze it in somewhere. I've got 6 weeks to go at the most but as long as I make it 4 more she can come and will be full term. That's crazy its closing in on me now. To think I will be a mom of three before I know it.

I ordered some of the last items I needed last week. My brother in law works for Walmart and used him discount for us so that we could get the little things like burp cloths, bottles, changing pad covers etc. I think the order should be here next week. I have gotten some coupons from people who were kind enough to clip and send them on to me and I have 2 months worth of diapers put away at 14 cents a diaper. Not to shabby. Once i get those last items in I will really feel like I am ready. It will be nice though since i ordered from a couple of different places I will have a few packages to look forward to opening and setting up for her arrival. It will at least give me something to look forward to these last few weeks.

And last but not least I had this idea which I'm not sure is good or not but feedback would be appreciated. I know how lonely it can be without hubby's around all the time or how maddening it can be to be around children all day with no adult conversations. I was thinking of using the web cam as a virtual get together with women once a week or once every other week. Maybe a bible study series we can do but from the comfort of our home in are pj's or whatever. Just to get some face time with an adult without the kids. No babysitter needed. Anyway just an idea I had. I don't even know if people would be interested but thought it could be kind of cool.

Anyway the kids are fighting, I am alone again and they need to get to bed. Phil's motorcycle died and I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow at 2 so I have to get up and drive him to work at 6:30 and then pick him up at 3:30. But once we leave for that appt time should fly by. Before I go I have to hit up the library, post office and bank. Then my appointment, then pick up Phil and then off to Pittsburgh early so we can hopefully beat all the rush hour traffic. I can't wait!!!!!
